LONG LIVE GOOD EQUIPMENT

  DSC01173

You would think with a crowd so big, the president elect was around... Have no fear, it is amazing the amount of power that half dressed cheer squad possess. While cutting edge technology is in abundance, I will give you one guess at something that is not... my type:)

While their enthusiasm was admirable, I highly doubt that was driving force behind the mounds men, cameras in hand, waiting to catch a glimpse at the "finest technologies". Looks like Casio did their CES homework... Shaking up quite a exhibit. (Sorry the pic is so distant, my elbows don't pack a large punch)

SELPH-FISH

Some what comparable in size to the small Fisher Price microphone-speaker combo I once owned proudly, now I can print my digital photos. Something more productive to share with family and friends than my not so God-given talent... This small Canon Printer is a little nugget of photo goodness.

The power packed munchkin can deliver quality photos in an instant with keeping my pocket book hefty. The "SelphyES3" is as adorable as its name. With unique features like silver borders and fun creative software, it makes my Martha Stewart heart pitter pat with joy. Not to mention the money and patience it saves me on not going to develop at a store.

"TRI"ING TO SHINE A LITTLE TO BRIGHT

The idea of sunglasses that allow Bluetooth technology as well as an outlet to your favorite MP3 device is clever. "Tri Specs" are a nifty little contraption that allows you to pause your music, while you answer your phone all by touching the mini buttons on the rim of your sunglasses. The idea is forward, the fashion however is not. "Tri" Ralph Lauren next time...

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME...THEATER

Sling Media has made normal cable usage last pick in media dodge ball. This fast spreading and very practical media control allows you to watch and control your own TV and DVR on your mobile phone. All of this through a small SlingBox. Among its many bonuses, it also allows a TV crazy patron like yours truly to watch Brothers & Sisters, OH! I mean your favorite boy TV shows, on your laptop or desktop. Thank you Sling Media for solving the "I can't believe I forgot to set the DVR" dilemma.

THE SS LAZY

heaven

Ok you can call it whatever your heart desires, I am calling it heaven! A floating lounge chair that massages while blasting out your favorite Jimmy Buffet tune from your MP3 player on its speakers. It is clearly the time travel issue solved.... five o'clock somewhere.

Great article, love your writing style. "Sling Media has made normal cable usage last pick in media dodge ball" may be the funniest turn of phrase I have read in a long while!

That printer looks awesome, remind me a bit of a toaster but is really cool.
